Seeking a detail-oriented and creative Django Developer with experience in developing technical solutions to business problems, who will work with our clients and teams in designing, documenting and developing to illuminate the quality of our services to the clients.

Job Responsibilities

• Experience designing REST APIs and implementing RESTful web services
• Experience in designing data persistence system using both SQL and NoSQL DBMS (MongoDB, Oracle DB)
• Good understanding of SCRUM/Agile methodology
• Experience in the management of a small team of IT professionals (desirable)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Skills in project planning
• Should be able to write/maintain Django web applications
• Should be able to integrate REST APIs
• Should work on API security

Job Specifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering Discipline
• 2+ years of the overall experience, with 1+ years of experience in Python, Django

Required Skills

• HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, Python & Django, RDMS (MySQL/Postgres)
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in designing and developing backend applications using -Python, Django and web services using REST, SOAP
• 2+ years of experience in microservices technologies using Django framework
• Designing & writing Python code with security, stability & performance embedded from the start
• Experience on agile/scrum and extreme programming (Test-driven development, Pair Programming, Code Reviews)
• Fundamental knowledge of Threads and experience in Databases that involves designing & writing SQL queries
• Should be well acquainted with Web/Application architecture
• Experience in using CI and tools such as Jenkins / Go CD
• Experience in using Source Code maintenance tools GIT, SVN
• Self-Motivated team player with the flexibility to work on changing needs efficiently
• A good understanding of Software development/Testing Life Cycle (STLC/SDLC)

Preferred Skills

• Prior development experience/ knowledge of any other automation tools would be an advantage
• Prior knowledge of machine learning techniques and experience in Analytical services is a plus
• Knowledge of NodeJS
